Five Medals at Leinster Indoor Championships

Metro Athletics Club athletes brought home five medals from the Leinster Indoor Championships at the National Indoor Arena last weekend. Aoife Kelly claimed gold in the women's 60m with a new personal best of 7.42 seconds. Ciara Dunne took gold in the high jump, clearing 1.78m. Liam Connolly added a silver in the 60m hurdles. Conor Byrne and Saoirse O'Brien both earned bronze medals in the 800m and 3000m respectively. Head coach Maria Fitzpatrick said the results show the squad is in excellent shape heading into the outdoor season.
