Metro Winter Series Wraps Up with Record Participation

The fourth and final round of our Metro Winter Series saw a record 85 athletes take part, with 12 new personal bests set across the day. Standout performances included Conor Byrne's 1:52.3 in the 800m — a big step forward for the 19-year-old — and Sean Gallagher's impressive 2:19:45 in the 10-mile road race that formed part of the endurance programme. The Winter Series has gone from strength to strength since it was introduced in 2022, and we're already planning an expanded five-round series for next winter.
